TESTING INFORMATION
The Ocean City Police Department will be holding several test dates for interested candidates applying for seasonal Public Safety Officers. Successful candidates will remain on the eligibility list for 18 months.

Hotel:
If you need to make hotel reservations, we recommend The Grand Hotel located at 2100 Baltimore Avenue, Ocean City, Maryland. You can make reservations by calling 1-800-447-6779 or (410)-289-6191. When making the reservations please ask the representative for the “OCPD Group Rate”. This rate is eligible for Friday and/or Saturday nights. (Discount and code does not apply for the July or October testing dates.)

Timeline:
Testing will begin at 8AM….doors will open at 7AM. There will be a short break for lunch. However, you may not be permitted to leave the testing site. Therefore, make sure you bring a granola bar or something similar with you. Also bring a water bottle as there are bottle refilling stations available.

Public Safety Officer interviews will be completed Saturday morning after successful completion of the written exam.
